Our goal…
Zen Computer Shop strive to always put the customer first. We aim to be a positive force in the local community and employ several local people in our shops. We price fairly, go the extra mile on support and are relentless in our pursuit of learning about the world of technology and improving our customer service.
Where did it all begin?
Simon and Ray started Zen Computer Shop on a side street in Glastonbury in September 2016. Opened by the then Mayor, Cllr Jon Cousins, Zen Computer Shop quickly became the go to place for all things tech in Glastonbury. Sales and repairs increased and it became apparent we needed more space so in February 2017 we opened our first High Street Shop on the bustling, quirky Glastonbury High Street. The next mile stone was incorporating Zen into a Limited Company in August 2017, we’d now also taken on technicians and support staff as we grew our business.
Computer Repairs…
From the beginning, we’ve encouraged Mac users to trust us to have their Macbooks / Airs and Pro computers repaired with us. As an independent repair center, Mac repairs now constitute almost half the machines booked in with us. Windows laptops and PC’s are repaired with the same diligence. We also repair consoles, tablets and some models of mobile phones.
A growing business…
Zen now has scores of business and education faculty customers and thousands of private customers. We are a team of more than 10 staff and are proud to facilitate both an apprentice and two students from Strode College.
Our stores…
Our main store opened in 2016 and can be found situated on Glastonbury Town high street. We opened our Shepton Mallet shop in July 2021, however we have now closed this location.
Situated in the heart of Somerset we are able to offer a positive experience for all our customers who require the ‘local touch’ and authentic, honest customer services from a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals in their town.
