The Repair Process:
Step 1 – Booking & Assessment:
Bring the device into one of our stores and a member of our helpful team will book your device in for an assessment.
We will assess and test your machine before any repairs are carried out. This enables us to provide you with an accurate quotation and timescale to resolve the issue.
Assessments for Windows devices cost £20, and Apple devices cost £25.
Step 2 – Quotation:
Once assessed we will be in contact to let you know precisely what the issue is, and how much it will cost to repair in terms of parts (if required) and labour.
If you go ahead with the repair at the quoted price then the original assessment fee is wavered. If you choose not to go ahead with the repair, or your device is uneconomical to repair (i.e. the cost of the repair exceeds the value of the device), then you will only pay the assessment fee.
Step 3: The Repair:
Our engineers will order any parts if required and complete the repairs to the highest standard. We will then contact you to collect your machine upon payment.
Currently we estimate to have repairs completed within 1-3 days, unless otherwise stated at the point of booking. However in some cases; especially where parts are on order or lengthy hardware tests are ongoing, this can be delayed. If this is the case we will let you know.

- “How long does a repair take?“
- We aim to complete repairs and have the device ready for collection within 1-3 days unless otherwise stated at the time of booking. It should also be noted that in some cases a repair may be delayed if we are waiting for replacement parts and diagnostic tests.
- “Which models and brands of PC’s & Laptops do you repair?“
- All makes and models.
- “Do you need my device passcode or PIN number?“
- In most cases yes. This depends entirely on the nature of the repair. If we need it we will take this information at the point of booking.
- “Do you repair multi-function printers and scanners?”
- Yes and no… Generally printers are treated like throw away items due to the cost of replacement parts, and coupled with the amount of labour which can go into a repair it often outweighs the cost of a new printer. However this isn’t always the case. If we cant fix your printer for a reasonable price we will tell you and you will only pay the £20 assessment fee. We also stock replacement multi-function printers if you require a new one.
- “Are repairs covered by a warranty?”
- Our repairs are performed to the highest standards which enable us to offer a 90 day warranty on labour, 90 day warranty on refurbished parts used in any repair, and 12 month warranty on any new parts used in the repair. We will always discuss and agree with you about the status of the parts used, so we’ll always tell you if we need to use new or refurbished. For more information view our service warranty terms.
